Shekinah (T.I. & Tiny)

1 Nov

There’s a reason I labeled this blog entry “Shekinah”… this week’s episode of T.I. & Tiny was all about her. Yeah, we had the little segment of Tiny talking to her about her surgery, and T.I. going to New Orleans to shoot his new music video….

But the episode was all about Shekinah… which I don’t have a problem with. I like her. I think she’s funny. In this episode, Shekinah is tired of being “big” and decides to have surgery to get rid of the excess fat so that she can be (in her own words) a “bad b****”. We also got to see some more of her friends and her crazy mother who seems to be a little off. But nevertheless, the episode was funny especially Shekinah’s confessionals.

Shekinah is a “character”… They are definitely setting up her up for her own show. Like I said, I like her, but I don’t think she should have her own show. It’ll be like Big Ang all over again. I love Big Ang on Mob Wives, but just having a show focused on her was a little too much…. and that’s what I feel will happen if Shekinah gets her own show.

But if she does, I’m not hating. Congrats to her! She’s definitely doing her thing, and her hustle is real! So I’m anxious to see what happens next. Catch the next episode of T.I. and Tiny next Monday at 9 pm on VH1.

I totally disagree with you! Comparing Shekinah to Big Ang is like comparing apples and oranges. Big Ang in my personal opinion is by far no where near as entertaining as Shekinah. I didn’t understand why she even got a spin off. Shekinah however, is so hilarious. I love her segments and in my opinion is more entertaining than Tiny. Some people may not like her bold “ghetto” personality but I like it. Especially if the show can be somewhat focused on her trying to tone it down and establishing her own name in the industry. It’s great reality tv.
